Sally Cockburn imageThe inaugural People in Health Awards, to be held as a gala dinner event on the evening of 22 May 2014, will acknowledge excellence in health education, training and development across Victoria. It is a must-attend event for anyone interested in health workforce development and a perfect complement for those attending the People in Health Summit.

Hosted by Dr Sally Cockburn at the remarkable Melbourne Museum, the event will recognise the exceptional achievements of organisations and individuals in country Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne, and will highlight Aboriginal health, partnerships and community initiatives.

Dr Sally Cockburn is a GP and health advocate who practices part time in suburban Melbourne. She is known in the media as Dr Feelgood and hosts a weekly radio programme on Melbourne’s 3AW. 

6.30pm pre-dinner drinks for a 7pm start
